Livelihood Support
Program
Under this scheme we seek to empower our beneficiaries to generate more income. This ties in with the mission of Goals 1 and Goal 8 (Decent work and economic growth). We focus on vocational education and skills development. This will empower our beneficiaries to live more financially stable lives. Other forms of livelihood support include:
- Youth empowerment where we create youth support groups to address problems such as drug use, crime teenage pregnancy, unemployment, HIV/AIDS affecting the youth population of communities where we operate
- Women empowerment
- Job creations - job opportunities are created if non-governmental organizations including ALDA Foundation continuously engage of both experts and technical support staff for humanitarian outreaches.
